The nineteenth ABC Masters Tournament was held at the Dane County Coliseum in Madison, Wisconsin, April 19-23, 1969, with a field of 480 bowlers. In a major upset, unknown Jim Chestney came out of the losers bracket to defeat Barry Asher and win the title—first 962-795, then 923-754.
