The fourteenth BPAA All-Star Tournament was held at the  Chicago Coliseum, January 14-23, 1955, with fields of 160 men and 64 women.  The winners of the events were recognized as the national match-game champions.  Eventual men’s champion Steve Nagy tied for the last place in the qualifying, then advanced to the match-play finals by winning a six-game roll-off.
