50 Years Ago—Jack Biondolillo’s TV 300

April 1, 1967—Jack Biondolillo rolled the first perfect game on a nationally-televised PBA broadcast at the Firestone Tournament of Champions in Akron.  He defeated Les Schissler in the opening match, 300-216, for a bonus prize of $10,000.  Later in the show, Biondolillo lost to Don Johnson to finish in third place.  Jim Stefanich won the tournament.
