Is Bud Horn still alive? There was a special story linked to him early in his career. J. R., do you have any details?

    • J.R. Schmidt Says:

USBC Hall of Fame website doesn’t have a death date, and he’s not on the Social Security Death Index. He’d only be in his early 80s—and that doesn’t seem so old any more.

      • Marty San Felippo Says:

Thanks J.R. For some reason I have it in my mind that he was paid an undisclosed amount of money for something to do with bowling.
Perhaps I am confused with someone else!
Let me know if you are aware of the tale..

      • J.R. Schmidt Says:

I’ve never heard that, but it sounds interesting. I’ll ask around. And maybe somebody who reads this will know,
