    How many lanes did it have? Is it still there? Those Brunswick “Subway” ball returns were a stupid idea. When they built Sycamore Lanes in Shrewsbury, NJ they had these and, at first, many of us thought they were cool but, in league play, when your turn came up, you have to walk halfway out the approach to get your ball . . . which could cause a lane “courtesy” problem . . . whereas the more conventional ball return (underground or not) would always have your ball close to the seating area and you wouldn’t have to encroach the “action” area to prepare for your next shot.
