Stefanich led the PBA in prize money while winning five tournaments.  He also earned two ABC eagles for Classic All Events and Classic Team.

    I was able to meet Jim and his buddy Alstot at Manor bowl during the sweepers on sat nite during the 70s.  He said he chose bowling over golf (scratch) because he had a better chance at player of the year. Nicklaus was dominating golf then.
