  1. Mike Adriansen Says:

I bought my first ball from his pro shop on Six Corners in the late 60’s(prior to that I had a hand me down ball and lots of tape). Whether Bomar was there or not, I don’t recall. Our friend Joe Hilldebrand went with and helped with grip and pitch decisions. The ball served me well until the late 70’s when the sport was changing rapidly and I had to change equipment to stay competitive. I still have the shoes from that sale, they have been repaired a few times, and retired for several years as I tried newer models, but they are still the best. Speaking of Joe H, do you happen to have a copy of the lengthy tutorial on bowling that he published? I remember seeing a copy many years ago. Thanks for the BLOG. Mike Adriansen
