Bowler of the Year 1945-46

In 1945-46, Joe Wilman had the finest season any bowler had ever had up to that time. He won the All-Star Tournament, won the ABC Tournament All Events, and won a share of the Match-Game Doubles championship. According to the contemporary bowling press, it was a foregone conclusion that Wilman would be named Bowler of the Year.

And he was. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find the detailed voting results–maybe Wilman was such a favorite, they didn’t bother with an election.  But seriously, if anyone does have the vote tally for this election, please send it to me.
