    I spent most of my youth bowling at Bryn Mawr. Started with an average around 50 and left with a 200+ average. Bowled my first 300 game there, right after my 14th birthday. Great memories of a simpler time.

    As a historic note, when this center opened in the 1940s, it was called Ted Lyons Bowl–one of the owners was the famous Sox pitcher.

    My friends and I hung out at Bryn Mawr Bowling alley and at the pool hall that was on the upper level. That was in the 60s. What memories.
