My father worked in the Gateway Bowling alley in the 1950’s and 60’s as a pinsetter. I am writing his memoir, “Sam, the Hot Dog Man.”

Was a pin boy in 1951. I was 11 years old. I was forced into retirement when my brother told my dad where I was spending my time. In retrospect I had no business being back there.. Remember the pin action of Carmen Salvino.
